THQ no longer publishing Devil’s Third

THQ is actively seeking out interested parties to take on publishing duties for Ninja Gaiden creator Tomonobu Itagaki’s next title Devil’s Third.

The publisher revealed that the ‘profitability profile’ of the game no longer meets their ‘internal threshold’ during its financial call to investors earlier today.

The title’s future is currently up in the air at this juncture, with a third-party deal seemingly needing to get done for the game to reach shelves.

Devil’s Third was previously slated for launch in 2013 on PS3 and Xbox 360, with a potential Wii U release being considered as well.
