THQs Watts departs for US office

Simon Watts will be joining THQ’s US team next week.

He will be leaving the publisher’s UK arm after three and a half years to start his Stateside duties on March 1st.

Watts will retain his role as global communications manager, having spent a year liaising remotely with the US studios. The move enables him to interact with these divisions more directly.

He told MCV: I’m excited to be closer to the studio teams where I will be better positioned to help shape the strategy for upcoming titles including Space Marine, Darksiders 2 and Devil’s Third.”
