Tomb Raider mini-series will serve as prequel to Rise of the Tomb Raider

A Tomb Raider mini-series is currently in the works for release next year.

The project is being led by writer, director and actor Stephen Lunsford, who is known to American audiences as Matt from the MTV show Teen Wolf.

Lunsford posted a picture on Instagram detailing the series as a prequel to next year’s Tomb Raider follow-up Rise of the Tomb Raider, which is being published by Microsoft and is currently only confirmed for release on Xbox.

The post has since been pulled from Instagram.

Lunsford previously worked with Rise of the Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics on a series of promotional adverts, including the ‘Tomb Raider Facts’ run of YouTube videos.
