Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD moves 120k copies in first week

XBLA sales for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD are off to a solid start.

The update to the skateboarding series racked up 120,000 copies sold in its first week, Josh Tsui of Robomodo told Gamasutra.

Tsui added that sales have remained consistent since the game’s launch thanks to good word of mouth along with the ease of trying out a smaller, downloadable title.

The game is heading to PSN sometime in late August and was recently confirmed for a PC release later in the year. Tsui was particularly intrigued by the upcoming PC offering:

It should be interesting to see the sales on PC—we’ve been surprised how many people are asking for that.”
