Trio join Trion to grow Euro team

Jonathan Goddard, Jeff Pabst and Simon Bull are the latest names to join MMO specialist Trion Worlds.

Goddard joins as head of European PR. He previously worked at EA Games for four years as senior international PR manager, and most recently was global PR and marketing manager at Polish publisher City Interactive.

Jeff Pabst has signed up as European commerce director, leaving his role as head of International Product Management and Strategy for Xbox.Finally Simon Bull (pictured), former European marketing director for EA, will serve as senior brand director for End of Nations and third-party publishing.

As Trion endeavours to drive its European business forward, it’s vital we attract the industry’s best talent,” said Trion Worlds’ European SVP and GM John Burns.

Building on Rift’s successful launch and ensuring our other projects generate the buzz they richly deserve are our key priorities, and I’m delighted we are forging the right team to help us achieve these goals.”

Other new recruits include former lead game master at Ubisoft Paris Franck Vacher joining as French community manager for End of Nations, while Lee Sritharan had left EA and has signed up at Trion Worlds as business intelligence director.

Finally, Kevin Taylor has been promoted from his product and PR support role to take up the European product manager role for Rift going forwards.
