TurboGrafx titles come to App Store

A range of titles released on the retro TurboGrafx-16 console are now available on the App Store.

Platform holder Hudson has released an official TurboGrafx app that allows Apple customers to download some of the classic games that were available for the device.

The app is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and comes with a free copy of World Sports Competition pre-loaded. Further titles can be purchased through the app, according to 1up.

Other games available include Gradius, Salamander, R-Type, Bonk’s Adventure, Bomberman ’94 and more.

The TurboGrafx app also promotes a daily ‘featured game’ that allows players to enjoy a three minute demo once a day.
