UK boss appointed for OnLive

Streaming games firm OnLive has promoted one of its key staff to run its new UK office.

Bruce Grove, previously the company’s senior director of engineering, has become UK general manager.

He has more than ten years of engineering management for enterprise systems, software, gaming hardware and even jet engines thanks to tenures at tech giants such as Dell and Sun.

In the UK, he will be charged with establishing a local office and plotting the OnLive European expansion plan.

Commenting on the move as part of today’s roll out of the OnLive mobile app releases, he said: Having been a part of the OnLive team as it grew from a small handful of people to our first launch in a new country, I’m hugely excited to be taking on the role of GM here in the UK.

"Following our phenomenal reception at launch in September, it’s really important to maintain that momentum and keep growing this market. You can expect to see lots more great stuff in the future.”
