VIDEO – Call of Duty: Black Ops II CONFIRMED

Activision has at last confirmed Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

The countdown to the announcement pointed to a reveal at 02:00am – which perhaps explains why despite naming the game, the teaser video does not yet work. Nor can any of the first in-game images be accessed.

Has someone pressed the button early? Quite possibly. But at least we know that we were right – the game is called Black Ops II and it will be released worldwide on November 13th.

Expect Activision to un-private the video shortly which will confirm the near-future setting and a new, more open-world themed single player game.

UPDATE: Here’s the first official blurb.

"Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare."
