VIDEO: Captain Picard and FIFA 14 combine for much epicness

Football is one of the most important things in the world. That is a fact.

So EA’s decision to combine a suitably epic monologue from Captain Picard (whom for reasons unclear some people refer to as Patrick Stewart) with gameplay footage from FIFA 14 is inherently sensible.

And quite brilliant.

The gameplay itself appears to be the next-gen Ignite-based build, judging by the quality of the animation and the crowd.
