VIDEO: Metroplex heeds the call of the Last Prime; Release date change

Transforming Autobot city Metroplex is the star of the latest short for Activision’s upcoming Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.

In it we see the bedraggled Autobot leader Optimus Prime is seen summoning a voice he has heard through the Matrix of Leadership.

The voice belongs to Metroplex, who is heard to utter the stirring response Metroplex heeds the call of the last Prime”. Developer High Moon Studios certainly knows exactly how to appeal to the IP’s devoted fan base.

Here’s the video. Transformers: War for Cybertron will be released on August 31st.

UPDATE: Activision has told MCV that the release date for the game has been moved forward a week. it will now arrive on August 24th.
