VIDEO: See the Sony and Microsoft E3 2013 trailers

There are just hours left – well, around 97.5 at the time of writing – until E3 2013 kicks off.

Nintendo might be skipping its chance to take to the stage and Ouya might have based itself in an LA car park, but both Sony and Microsoft are preparing to wow us all with their next-gen lemons in the most spectacular way.

The Sony trailer below tantalises us with the promise of a first peak at the hardware itself. Will it be cubic? The trailer certainly has lots of regular hexahedron-like imagery.

Microsoft’s trailer is more generic, but the platform holder has promised a game-centric presentation designed to appeal to the Xbox 360’s traditional core gaming audience.

Microsoft’s E3 2013 press event will take place at 5:30pm on June 10th while Sony’s takes place at 2:00am the following morning.
