VIDEO: See Xbox One’s ‘snap’ in action

Microsoft has released a video showing how its ‘snap’ feature will work on Xbox One.

The new console specialises in running apps simultaneously, meaning that gamers can have other things displayed on screen at the same time as they game.

As shown below, users need only call out a command and Xbox One will, for instance, show TV or browse the net in a separate panel while games carry on uninterrupted.

It’s not hard to imagine how this might be useful. For instance, users can have the football on as they play or access a strategy guide.
