VIDEO: SOE reveals new free-to-play FPS Bullet Run

Sony Online Entertainment has unveiled Bullet Run, a new free-to-play multiplayer FPS heading to PC this summer.

Like all of the cool kids, it’s set in the near future” and sees players competing in a Running Man style reality TV show that places as much emphasis on style as it does on killing.

As you’d expect in any online title, customisation plays a big part, with players free to stress test the levels of absurdity that they can apply to their avatars.

Up to 20 players are supported across six arenas with two game modes available at launch – Team Death Match and Domination. The free download will be supported by microtransactions.

While our games portfolio continues to grow across many different genres of online gaming, the addition ofBullet Runbrings an entirely new level of entertainment to the gameplay experience for both the free-to-play community and fans of first-person shooters,” SOE’s executive director of business development and corporate strategy reckons.

The game promises a high energy persistent combat experience that few FPS games have obtained, while also lowering the barriers of entry for more casual players looking for a unique gaming experience.”
