VideoGamer.com defeats Ubisoft at Xmas Pub Quiz

Ubisoft were hoping for a hat trick of MCV/Xbox 360 Pub Quiz wins but victory was snatched from them by VideoGamer.com.

The Christmas quiz was held in Holborn’s Sway bar last night, and saw teams from across the UK games industry taking part.

Videogamer.com triumphed with 55 points – just one point ahead of the Ubi team, who won both the September and June quizzes this year.

Thousands of pounds’ worth of gaming goodies were given away as spot prizes. Attendees had the chance to win a Guild Wars bundle from NCsoft, Westfield gift vouchers from Turner Media Innovations, tickets to Warhorse at Empire, Leicester Square from Lick Creative, copies of Super Mario 3D Land from Nintendo, Xbox 360 media remotes and wireless headsets from Gem, Xbox 360 twin docking stations from Venom, copies of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and Just Dance 3 from Ubisot and Gunnar glasses from Lygo International.

Each member of the Videogamer team took home the big prize: a 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect.
