Viva Piñata pair dated

Though it’s yet to reach the Pokemon-like levels of hype once touted, Microsoft’s Viva Piata series continues to gain momentum and popularity, and it has been confirmed that the second instalment in the franchise, Party Animals, will hit European games retail on November 16th.

Developed by Ty the Tasmanian Tiger and Spyro The Eternal Night developer Krome Studios, Viva Piata Party Animals takes the tried and tested mini-games approach, a family-friendly genre that Microsoft is keen to expand on Xbox 360.

In addition, on the same day the PC version of Rare’s original title, which is being handled by racing specialists Climax, will also hit UK retail.

The XP and Vista compatible title is an official Games for Windows title, meaning that it will offer 1000 Achievement points to PC gamers.
