Walmart reveals Gamecenter

In its latest move to up the market share it enjoys in the video game sector, retail giant Walmart has launched a brand new website focused specifically on its video games offer.

Dubbed Gamecenter, the portal offers news, previews and discounts to members. In fact, US consumers who log on and pre-order three titles are currently eligible for a $50 discount.

Walmart Gamecenter combines incredible savings with exclusive gaming content all in a compelling and interactive experience online,” VP of merchandising for Walmart.com Kelly Thompson stated.

Gaming enthusiasts will be drawn in by the exclusive content and developer interviews, while mums will appreciate the special savings only Walmart can offer on the hottest video game titles.”

The move follows recent confirmations of a fresh offensive in the pre-owned sector at the retailer.
