Warner finally announces its Batman Arkham collection remasters

It’s been a long time coming. Warner Bros has confirmed that its Batman bundle, offering remastered versions of two of the Caped Crusader’s four adventures.

Batman: Return to Arkham includes his first two Rocksteady outings – Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Both games are getting the remaster treatment, courtesy of developer Virtuos, for PS4 and Xbox One. All post release DLC will of course be included, too.

As is the way expect an Unreal 4 powered graphics upgrade, new character models and environments as well as flashy new lighting, effects and shaders.

Not in the bundle are Batman: Arkham Origin, which was developed by Warner Bros Montreal, or last year’s Rocksteady title Batman: Arkham Knight.

Batman: Return to Arkham will be released on July 29th and cost 39.99. It doesn’t look like the remastered games are coming to PC, perhaps unsurprisingly.
