Watch Boris Johnson prance around a Minecraft London

Almost ten years ago, Boris Johnson said that computer games ‘rot the brain’ in this Telegraph editorial.

But what a difference ten years make. Not only have we seen Boris playing Wii and with VR, now he’s giving the industry he once lambasted 1.2m to relaunch London Games Festival.

To do so, the Mayor of London – not shy from having a bit of fun – made the announcement in this Minecraft-inspired video, where he wandered around a recreated London.
