WATCH THE VIDEO: First trailer of Disney’s video games homage

Walt Disney Pictures has released the debut trailer for Wreck-It Ralph, a film that tells the tale of a frustrated video game villain.

The clips shows the titular Ralph at a group therapy session with other gaming nasties, including Bowser, Dr Robotnik and Clyde, one of the Pac-Man Ghosts.

He later tries his hand at working in other games, such as cutesy kart racer Sugar Rush and first-person shooter Hero’s Duty.

Other cameos include a Plants vs Zombies-style Zombie, Street Fighter’s Zangief and arcade icon Q*Bert.
