August kicks off with a bit of Hollywood flair as two of the summer’s latest celluloid blockbusters arrive on games shelves.

First up is THQ’s The Last Airbender, recreating the events of M Night Shyamalan’s film of the same name. Both movie and game are also based on the popular anime, in which a young boy with the power to control the elements must defeat the evil armies of the Fire Nation.

Also out this week is Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, based on the latest Jerry Bruckheimer film starring Nicholas Cage.
