Windows 8 set for 2012 release?

While Microsoft has remained tight-lipped about when Windows 8 will be unveiled, the software giant’s Netherlands team appears to have let the cat out of the bag by posting a blog that suggests a late 2012 release date.

According to a translated version of the Dutch language blog, which has appeared unofficial fansite Windows8beta.com, Microsoft Netherlands said: it will take about two years before Windows 8 on the market.”

However, a Google Translate version of the blog suggests the firm has now taken down the comments relating to the forthcoming operating system.
