World of Tanks users spend the most

World of Tanks claimed more average revenue per user than any other online game in the last 12 months, according to a new research.

Thereport by SuperDataranks Wargaming’s popular free-to-play warfare game at the top of a chart that includes major hitters such as League of Legends, DOTA 2 and Guild Wars 2.

World of Tanks average revenue per users (ARPU) is pinned at $4.51, just ahead of Valve’s Team Fortress 2 on $4.36. By contrast, League of Legend is earning $1.32 on average per user, less than half what the average World of Tanks user spends.

However, as the report points out, League of Legends is almost five times the size of World of Tanks user base.
