WoW 2012 Arena Pass announced

Blizzard has announced the 2012 Arena Pass for their MMO World of Warcraft.

The pass will offer exclusive rewards, a new title, and even more for those who upgrade to the Mists of Pandaria expansion. The studio has also put together a dedicated arena sandbox for the festivities.

Sign-ups begin April 10th to take part in the tournament. Players are to use level-85 character templates and epic gear from the Cataclysm expansion.

Participants will receive an Armored Murloc in-game pet, with top players able to earn a ‘Vanquisher’ title for their character(s). Those who purchase both the pass and the Mists of Pandaria expansion get a level-90 realm and upgraded epic gear as well.

Last year’s Arena Pass ran $20; though Blizzard has yet to reveal this year’s pricing.
