WoW: Mists of Pandaria arrives this September

Blizzard has dated the fourth expansion pack for its online phenomenon World of Warcraft.

Mists of Pandaria will be released on Tuesday, September 25th and will retail for $39.99 in the US.

A special Collector’s Edition will also be available for $79.99. This will include bonus in-game items – such as a mount, pet and Battle.net portraits – as well as a behind-the-scenes DVD and Blu-ray, soundtrack CD, art book and mouse pad.

The in-game items will also be included in the Digital Deluxe edition, which will be available to download directly from WorldofWarcraft.com for $59.99.

"Mists of Pandaria contains the biggest variety of new content we’ve ever created for a World of Warcraft expansion, with features that will appeal to new players, veterans, and everyone in between," said Blizzard CEO and co-founder Mike Morhaime.

"We’ve received a lot of great feedback from players during our most extensive beta test yet, and we hope they enjoy exploring everything Pandaria hasto offer when the expansion comes out in September."

Mists of Pandaria gives WoW players access to the lost continent of Pandaria, as well as the ability to play as the panda-like Pandarens. It was first announced back in October last year.
