X Factor game gets release date

Koch Media’s Deep Silver label has confirmed that The X Factor, a karaoke title based on the successful ITV franchise, will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii in the UK on October 29th.

The game was first revealed by MCV at the beginning of June.

The game includes 28 songs from artists such as Lady Gaga, Pixie Lott and U2 and will be distributed in the UK, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

The X Factor will capture the excitement and entertainment of the TV show, including auditions, boot camp, appearances in judges’ houses and live shows,” the press release reads. In addition to the Career mode, The X Factor offers a Party mode with four different varieties of gameplay.”
