Xbox One X Project Scorpio edition revealed, plus two new Xbox One S bundles

Microsoft has announced three new Xbox One variants ahead of this year’s Gamescom. The first is a limited edition Project Scorpio Xbox One X Edition, the second is a Minecraft Limited Edition Xbox One S bundle, and the third and final console is an Xbox One S Shadow of War bundle.

Starting with the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition, this features a custom colour, vertical stand and the words ‘Project Scorpio’ printed on both the console and the controller. Priced at 449, the console is available to pre-order now alongside regular Xbox One X consoles.

Microsoft also revealed that over 100 games will be getting Xbox One X support on November 7th, including Assassin’s Creed Origins, Halo 5,NBA 2K18, Dishonored 2, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus,FIFA 18 and Star Wars Battlefront II. A full list can be found on Microsoft’s website.

The Xbox One S Minecraft Limited Edition bundle, meanwhile, has been designed to look like a grass and dirt block. With 1TB of storage, this exclusive bundle comes with a full download code for Minecraft, the Redstone Pack, a collection of unique skin packs and a vertical stand that has a transparent underside and Redstone circuit accents.

It also comes with a custom Minecraft Creeper Xbox Wireless Controller. What’s more, the console will be decked out with Minecraft system sounds. This is also available for pre-order now, and will be launching in all Xbox One markets bar China and Brazil on October 3rd 2017.

The Minecraft Creeper controller will be available to buy separately, too, alongside a Minecraft Pig controller. Both have a textured grip and ABXY buttons in the Minecraft font. These launch in Europe on September 12th 2017, and are available now to pre-order.

Lastly, there will also be a Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Xbox One S bundle. This will be available in either 500GB or 1TB configurations, and will come with a copy of Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, an Xbox Wireless Controller, a one month Xbox Game Pass subscription and a 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial.
