XCOM shooter pushed back to 2013

2K’s sci-fi shooter XCOM will not arrive until next year, meaning it will now hit shelves after strategy reboot XCOM Enemy Unknown.

The publisher had already delayed the shooter from March 2012 to between April 1st 2012 and March 2013, but now it looks as if the title won’t arrive this year.

The separate XCOM Enemy Unknown strategy game is still due for release sometime in 2012.

As reported by IGN, the news of the fresh delay came from the latest issue of Game Informer.
