Zattikka hires new exec producer

Online and mobile games specialist Zattikka has appointed industry veteran Peter Jones as its new executive producer.

Jones joins from Codemasters where he held the position of product development director. He has previously worked at Mirrorsoft, Sega, Acclaim and Virgin Interactive as well as Argonaut Games and Lionhead Studios, giving him experience on titles such as Fable 2, Harry Potter, the Alien Trilogy and more.

He will work closely with Matt Spall at Zattikka to manage the expanding portfolio of new products within the company, such as its web gaming portal Gimme5games.

He will play a key role in ensuring that our users see Zattikka as a provider of premium product and experiences.”

Zattikka also hired Joel Breton as vice president of North American operations last week, and Dave Mutton as VP of sales and marketing.

The appointments come after Zattikka secured $5.5m funding in July. The firm has told MCV it plans to raise more cash and target acquisitions in the future.
