Zavvi gets exclusive Vanquish LE

Retailer Zavvi will be the exclusive stockist of the Limited Edition version of Sega’s futuristic console shooter Vanquish.

Currently available to pre-order at 54.95 (though the site claims the SKU carries an RRP of 69.99), the bundle includes the game as well as a packaged seven-inch figurine of lead protagonist Sam Gideon.

Vanquish is being developed by Platinum Games and is headed up by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami. It’s best described as a break-neck futuristic take on the Gears of War formula.

The standard version is also available to pre-order from the retailer for just 33.95.

The game is due out on Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 22nd.
