Epic Games has outlined its plans for the upcoming GDC 2019, including two booths, a selection of talks, and its annual "State of Unreal" address.
In a recent blog update, Epic Games says it will "showcase the latest advancements in Unreal Engine technology and support the wider development community with extensive content and learning opportunities".
Game Developers Conference will take place March 18th-22nd at San Francisco’s Moscone Center. Along with the two booths – South 349’s Unreal Engine tools demonstrations and learning sessions, and South 327’s "Games. Jobs. Beer." – Epic will also return to the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater on Wednesday, March 20th, for the annual “State of Unreal” opening session with founder and CEO Tim Sweeney, CTO Kim Libreri and special guests. The presentation will also be livestreamed to Unreal Engine channels.
After that, Epic will host a full day of Unreal Engine Tech Talks at the Arts Theater from 11am to 6pm PST covering topics ranging from "the future of physics and destruction in Unreal Engine to ray tracing and refactoring the mesh drawing pipeline in UE 4.22". These tech talks will also be livestreamed.
On the Expo Floor itself, Epic’s booth at Moscone South 327 will "showcase dozens of the most exciting new titles developed with UE4".
