Gamer Network announces dates for EGX Rezzed 2019

The dates for EGX Rezzed 2019 have been announced, taking place from the 4th to the 6th of April. Now in its eighth year, the annual event will return to London’s Tobacco Dock, which has hosted Rezzed since 2015.

Over 200 individual games are expected to be playable at the event, with games on PC and across all console platforms. Rezzed 2019 will also see the return of the popular Leftfield Collection, which allows games that fall outside of the mainstream the chance to find an audience among attendees of the event.

The three day event will also feature a busy schedule of talks and panel sessions on a variety of topics, featuring professional career advice, deep dives into aspects of game development and exclusive updates on major titles.

Also expected to attend are the video teams from Outside Xbox, Eurogamer and Rock Paper Shotgun, who will be available during the event to meet and interact with fans.

Rezzed is again partnered with BAFTA, and the independent charity is set to have a presence on the show floor. The BAFTA Games Awards will also be taking place on the 4th of April, at a yet-unannounced venue.

Last year’s event saw the highest number of industry attendees in its history, attracting over 1,500 game industry professionals – but Gamer Network hopes to expand Rezzed even further. With additional space now being available within the Tobacco Dock, the organiser expects 2019 to be the biggest in the event’s history, with tickets being available for sale in the autumn.
