Deus Ex: The Fall launches this week on iOS

The mobile debut of the Deus Ex franchise is set for this Thursday, according to publisher Square Enix.

Deus Ex: The Fall will launch on iOS on July 11th, and will be the first of several installments for the game – one might even call it episodic.

Regardless, the initial offering will go for $6.99 in North America, 4.99 in the U.K. and €5.99 in Europe. The game will be compatible with iPad 2 and above, iPhone 4S and above and iPod Touch 5 and above.

The title’s story runs alongside the series’ latest console release Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and puts players in control of former British SAS operative Ben Saxon.

Deus Ex: The Fall is being developed by Square Enix’s European mobile studio, with assistance from Human Revolution developer Eidos Montreal and N-Fusion Interactive. An Android version is in development as well, but no mention of a release date as of yet.
