Web community contest offers publishing deal to winning indie studio

2Bee Games launches dev competition

Web development community 2Bee Games is running its third game contest for indie studios.

The entires will be judged by industry experts, who will award their favorite game $100,000 and a multi-platform publishing deal with Zoo Games.

The 2Bee Games community can also vote for their favourite game, which will be awarded a separate cash prize and publishing oppourtunity.

Entires will be accepted from May 1, with contest rules posted on 2Bee Games’ site.

Submitted games must be original and previously un-commissioned. 2Bee Games have stated that the previous contest winners will be launching their games this year.

Zoo Games CEO Mark Seremet spoke of being thrilled about launching the contest once again.

“The talent and creativity that lies within independent developers is incredible, and we are very excited to see what they come up with this time around,” he said.

“We will consider providing more than one publishing contract should the submission warrant it, and with the level of innovation that developers have shown in contests past, it’s a great possibility,” he added.
