As former Activision and NCsoft exec Geoff Heath joins advisory board

4MM Games expands operations to UK

4MM Games – the newly opened New York dev-publisher – has expanded its business to the UK by launching new sales and marketing offices in London.

The outfit formed last year under the leadership of Rockstar founding duo Gary Foreman and Jamie King, along with ex-Image Metric exec Nicholas Perrett.

And now the group has appointed former Activision and NCsoft exec Geoff Heath, who will offer strategic input on the Euro market as a 4MM advisory board member.

“In my career in the video games industry, I have rarely come across such a passionate, creative and talented management team as the guys at 4mm,” Heath said in an interview with MCV.

4mm is currently working on Def Jam Rapstar – a music game where players are tasked with rapping along to music tracks.

The outfit previously hinted its focus on music titles by hiring ex-Warner Music exec Paul Coyne, and is today collaborating with license holder Def Jam Interactive.

4MM’s London office will handle sales and marketing for the game while spearheading 4mm’s long-term Euro growth.
