Canadian operation to create 200 more jobs in next two years.

Activision Quebec studio expands

Activision’s Quebec studio Beenox is set to triple in size by 2009.

The operation will create 200 new jobs in the area as the studio focuses its efforts on developing games for next-gen consoles. It will be creating titles based on Activision’s biggest licences, including major movie franchises.

Executive VP of Activision Publishing Robin Kaminsky said in a statement that Quebec has “one of the fastest growing talent pools in North America.”
