Canadian outfit United Front games to develop True Crime's return

Activision taps ModNation Racers team for IP revamp

Activision this weekend revealed that it was reviving last-gen IP True Crime – and that Canadian independent studio United Front is developing the title.

The game was unveiled with a teaser trailer at the Spike Video Game Awards in LA.

United Front Games is currently finishing off ModNation Racers for Sony – the PS3 exclusive racing title is effectively a sister title to LittleBigPlanet given its emphasis on user-generated content.

Activision and United Front had announced back in May that the two were working together on a ‘Hong Kong-based’ action title when the studio first opened.
