Nutaku looking to stump up the full cost to add mature content and adult themes into games

Adult games platform Nutaku starts $10m fund to produce adult versions of popular video games

Adult games platform Nutaku has announced it’s starting a $10m fund to fully fund game developers to introduce NSFW versions of popular games and bring them to market.

The company is looking to stump up the full cost to add mature content and adult themes into a developer’s established games, promising to also advertise the games prominently on its platform.

"This is an offer especially relevant to the thousands of game developers who have produced quality titles on Google Play / Apple Store and found their projects buried in a wave of generic competition," said Nutaku in its announcement, adding that it has 23 million monthly users of its platform, useful as adult games cannot be featured on the iOS or Google Play stores.

"We’re not going to fund every project that comes across our desks, but if you’ve got a good rating on your distribution platform, an enthusiastic community, or positive reviews from trusted sources, we’d like to hear your ideas," said Nutaku’s press release. "The demand by fans for high-quality new titles far outstrips what’s currently available or in production, leading us to extend this offer to developers who have previously suffered from lack of distribution platforms."

Nutaku claims that 90% of games with adult editions earn back their investment in just 3 months, claiming that content restrictions from other storefronts and publishing opportunities mean that Nutaku is in a prime position to harness the industry’s growth.
