Social gaming company completes Series A round

Alamofire secures $2 million funding

PEHub is reporting that Alamofire, a company dedicated to social gaming on networking sites such as Facebook, has secured $2 million of funding.

The Southlake, Texas based startup completed the Series A funding round with support from The Founders Fund and Alsop Louie Partners.

Alamofire was born from another startup, Firewheel, which operates the icon trading site IconBuffet.
