Alexis Madinier becomes Sumo Digital India director

Sumo Digital has announced Alexis Madinier as their new studio director for the Sumo Digital India studio.

The studio, which has just moved to new premises in Pune and is celebrating its tneth anniversary, now aims to employ over 100 staff by the end of 2017.

Madinier has been working in game development in India for nearly a decade, working with the Supinfogame game design institute and was CEO and creator of DSK Green Ice Games, according to his LinkedIn profile.

“Sumo’s vision for the India studio, which is an integral part of the company, is exciting. I’m delighted to join and help make that vision a reality,” said Madinier in a statement.

"Alexis’ experience and leadership will help steer the India studio into its second decade – managing the expansion and facilitating tighter integration with our development teams," added Sumo Digital COO, Paul Porter. "After ten years of innovation and creativity in Sumo India, we’re incredibly proud of what the studio has achieved to date, and even more excited about what is yet to come.”
