New version boasts Gamebryo and other engine integration functions

Anark releases Gameface 4.0

3D interface tool Gameface has been given a full point version release by creator Anark.

Gameface 4.0 boasts a number of new functions including complete integration with Emergent’s Gamebryo engine plus streamlined integration with any other game engine. Meanwhile a preview on target platform system includes a multiplatform viewer that provides real-time previewing on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, while version 4 also promises an optimised Collada graphics pipeline.

Anark also says the app has up to a five times improvement in runtime speed and ten times improvement in memory management.

"The optimizations and workflow enhancements in Gameface 4.0 are the direct result of feedback and collaboration with key customers and industry partners," stated Justin Ebert, SVP of product development.

"I am confident that Gameface 4.0 will radically improve how our customers develop their UIs."
