App Star dev contest deadline draws near

Those entering Vodafone’s App Star development contest have just under a month to go to submit entrees for the competition, which boasts an impressive €1 million prize fund.

The pan-European event invites budding games makers to create a mobile application which must be submitted by March 31st.

Participants can choose to enter their creation into one of eight markets; namely the UK, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal or Spain. The submission deemed the best within each region will be awarded €25,000, while the runners up in second and third place will receive €15,000 and €10,000 respectively.
