April release for Red Dead Redemption

Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption will hit shelves in April 2010, according to a mail-out from the publisher.

The long-awaited title was ‘delayed’ earlier this year, when an earnings call from Rockstar parent Take Two revealed it was to be released in Q1 2010.

The firm’s mail-out to press today also revealed that a new trailer for the game will be released on Tuesday next week.

Red Dead Redemption – a sequel to Red Dead Revolver – is being developed for Xbox 360 and PS3 by Rockstar San Diego, the studio behind the original 2004 Wild West title.
