New iPhone app tracks game's collectables via an interactive map

Arkham City app to accompany console game

An official Batman: Arkham City app has been released merging the full game with the iOS platform.

The app, developed by Dorling Kindersley, provides users with an interactive map with locations of the game’s 350 collectables and riddles via their mobile.

The App Store page calls it “the perfect digital companion” to the game.

The release follows an increase in developers trying to merge the two platforms after Deep Silver’s Dead Island map app, released last month, that could be used as a similar tool for its console counterpart.

Batman: Arkham City was released today and has been well received by media outlets, currently boasting a 95 Metacritic rating on Xbox 360 and PS3.
