Art outsourcer Atomhawk opening London studio

Art outsourcer Atomhawk will open a new studio in London in the next few weeks.

The office will provide services such concept art, UI and UX design and marketing art services for both games and film. The company is also set to expand into other areas, though it has not disclosed what this might entail.

The London studio will be headed up by Mat Hart. He has previously worked at Ninja Theory, Capcom and LEGO.

“We hope that a foot on the ground in London will bring us closer to publishers and developers, with greater opportunities for our marketing art services and allowing our UI/UX designers to work in closer collaboration with clients to ensure a greater sharing of ideas and a smooth integration with their technology,” Atomhawk director Ron Ashtiani told Develop.

“We also hope the move will help us to expand on our portfolio of work in film and other digital industries.”

Atomhawk has worked on games such as DMC: Devil May Cry, Mortal Kombat X, Injustice: Gods Among Us and Resogun. It also provided concept art for blockbuster film Avengers: Age of Ultron.
