Mocap studio boosts headcount with pair of hires

Audiomotion welcomes two new faces

Oxfordshire-based motion capture specialists Audiomotion has increased its headcount by two.

The leading European mocap studio has hired Rachel Tudhope, who recently graduated from Oxford University with first class honours. Formerly a employee at Vicon Motion Systems, Tudhope joins Audiomotion as a motion capture specialist.

Meanwhile, Colm Massey has been appointed head of research and development. The new member of the team formerly filled the CTO role at Natural Motion, the Oxford-based company he co-founded. Massey brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to Audiomotion, having garnered international recognition at the animation tool company.

Audiomotion managing director Mick Morris commented: “It’s great to start 2009 with these fantastic appointments. This is part of the company’s commitment to continue strengthening its team and provide the very best in motion capture.”
