NaturalMotion's American football iPhone game hits sales milestone

Backbreaker iOS downloaded 5m times

NaturalMotion’s American football title Backbreaker has now seen five million downloads on the iOs platforms.

The news comes in the immediate wake of the Oxfordshire-based animation technology outfit’s announcement that Backbreaker is to see a sequel on XBLA named Backbreaker Vengeance.

NaturalMotion, which has proved a technology company can make a huge success out of releasing its own games whilst still expanding its tools’ functionality and uptake, released the original Backbreaker on both iOS and Xbox 360.

The company’s solutions, which include the ever-popular Morpheme and Euphoria, remain prominent tools across the industry.
