Publisher releasing Gambrinous' Guild of Dungeoneering later this year

Banner Saga publisher Versus Evil signs Irish indie

New indie publisher Versus Evil has added another studio to its ranks in the form of Irish developer Gambrinous.

The Dublin-based studio is currently working on its first commercial game: turn-based RPG Guild of Dungeoneering, in which players build a dungeon around a hero and deploy monsters in order to defeat them.

The game is due for PC, Mac and tablets in 2015, and is the latest indie title to be signed by Versus Evil, which is working with Stoic to bring acclaimed strategy title The Banner Saga to PS4 this year.

"I am very pleased and excited to be working with Versus Evil on the launch of Guild of Dungeoneering," said Gambrinous founder Colm Larkin. "After all of our hard work going through Steam Greenlight and making it onto Steam, it’s great to know that our first commercial game is in such safe hands with Versus Evil and I am really looking forward to getting Guild of Dungeoneering out there in front of the gamers that have been so supportive over the past year."

Versus Evil has also signed indie titles such as 4genecy’s Habitat, Redacted’s Afro Samurai 2, Swordtale’s Toren and Tangrin’s Kyn.
