Berlin mobile start-up garners $1.7m in 3 weeks

Berlin mobile start-up eelusion Game Studios has accrued $1.7 million in just three weeks from its seed funding campaign.

The developer is to use the money for its location-based and augmented reality social game Eevoo.

The title is set to be released on iOS in the latter half of 2012, and will support other platforms at a later date.

"Behind eelusion are some creative minds with a wide range of skills, experience and a high degree of motivation", studio co-founder Jürgen Lange.

"The creative energy of the two is second to none in terms of driving the enormous market potential of eelusion. Together with our team, we will do everything in our power to show mobile users new opportunities that are fun and that enrich their digital lives."
