Bigben Interactive acquire Test Drive brand, plan to make Test Drive Unlimited sequel

European video game outfit Bigben Interactive has stumped up an unknown amount of cash and brought the Test Drive brand from Atari.

Bigben has said they plan to use the brand immediately and are going to start work on a new entry in the Test Drive Unlimited series. The company has experience in the field, with key franchises World Rally Championship and TT Isle of Man.

The last entry in the Test Drive Unlimited series sold 1.8m units. The last Test Drive game, Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends, came out in 2012 to middling reviews and since then the franchise has been dormant.
