Over 500 development execs heading to Brighton event next week

Biggest ever Develop Awards looms

There’s just a week to go until the 2007 Develop Industry Excellence Awards – and this year the event will be its biggest ever, with over 500 games development executives from around the world set to attend.

The evening event takes place at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton, on Wednesday July 25th alongside the Develop conference and expo.

Over 60 games development studios, technology and service companies from across Europe are in the running for 16 awards including New Console/PC IP, Best Independent Studio and Best Tools. Special industry awards naming a Development Legend and an an overall Grand Prix winner are also announced on the night. The full shortlist can be found here.
